The Middle East Youth Summit (MEYS) 2027 is bringing young Muslim leaders together in Makkah for its seventh edition. Organized by Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB), the summit will take place from 22–25 March 2027 under the theme “Empowering Emerging Leaders for Positive Change within the Islamic Brotherhood.”
The program is built around youth leadership, community development, cross-cultural collaboration, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Selected participants will work in international teams to develop practical social-impact projects while connecting with young Muslims from different countries.

What Is the Middle East Youth Summit?
MEYS brings Muslim youth together across borders through an international youth leadership program.

Who Can Apply for MEYS 2027?
The Fully Funded opportunity is open to Muslim youth who meet the stated requirements.
Applicants must:
- Be 15–40 years old.
- Be Muslim.
- Hold any nationality.
- Come from any educational background.
- Have no criminal conviction.
- Not be affiliated with an extremist organization.
- Be willing to complete the full selection process.
- Be prepared to participate throughout the program if selected.

The Fully Funded Selection Process
Unlike a simple first-come, first-served registration, the Fully Funded opportunity includes several selection stages.
1. Submit the Application
Complete the online application and provide the required information and documents.
2. Write an Essay
Applicants must answer:
“How can young Muslim leaders turn community challenges into opportunities for sustainable development?”
The essay must:
- Be written in English.
- Be no longer than 800 words.
- Focus on one SDG area.

3. Essay Assessment
Submitted essays will be reviewed as part of the selection process.
4. Interview
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.
5. Final Selection
Successful applicants will be announced as Fully Funded delegates.
