Job Title: 2027 General Election Volunteer Observer
Location: All 36 States and the FCT Across Nigeria’s 774 Local Government Areas.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Applicants Must:
- Be at least 18 years old and reside in the Local Government Area where you intend to observe.
- Demonstrate impartiality, integrity, and a commitment to credible elections.
- Possess good observation, communication, and reporting skills.
- Be comfortable using a smartphone and digital reporting tools.
- Be available for training and deployment during the election period.
- Have no active partisan campaign role that could compromise your neutrality.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Selected observers will be trained to
- Monitor electoral procedures,
- Document incidents,
- Assess voter participation and inclusion,
- Evaluate the technical functionality of electoral processes and systems, and submit accurate, timely reports using digital tools.
