The National Council on Climate Change (NCCC) is inviting eligible young professionals (18–35 years) working in climate-related Ministries, Departments, and Agencies to apply for the Climate Youth Negotiators Programme (CYNP) 2026 Cohort.
The programme offers/Benefits
■ Mentorship and structured capacity building
■ 6 months Training on negotiation skills and UNFCCC processes
■ Support for youth participation at COP 31
• A strong focus on African and developing country perspectives
Eligibility criteria:
- Be a Nigerian
- Be between 18-35 years at time of application
- Be a government employee working in a climate change related ministry, departmnent or agency (MDA)
