Description
- The post holder will be responsible for providing direct support, including GBV case management and psychosocial support services, to at-risk women and girls and survivors of GBV.
Person Specifications
Education / Qualifications:
- First degree in Social Sciences/ Art /Health or other related fields is essential.
Experience
- At least two (2) years’ experience in implementing child protection or Gender-Based Violence programs, preferably social work or case management, in humanitarian or development settings is essential.
- Previous experience in GBV case management is essential.
- Experience working with case files and databases and providing regular documentation preferred is essential.
- Experience in working in an International Development organisation is desirable.
Skill/Abilities:
- Previous experience in emergency preparedness and response.
- Proficiency in community mobilization, challenging social norms/relations, Behaviour Change Communication, and Case Management with good facilitation skills.
- Proven strong and charismatic management and leadership skills and experience
- Demonstrated experience in capacity building and mentoring of staff.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Excellent report-writing skills.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
