- We are looking for a creative and passionate professional to join our team as a Content Creator/Social Media Manager.
- This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the education sector through impactful content and social media engagement.
Job Overview
- The Content Creator/Social Media Manager will be responsible forcreating engaging content, overseeing our social media platforms, and enhancing our online presence. This individual will play a key role in defining our brand’s voice and fostering meaningful connections with our audience.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation:
- Develop and produce compelling content (including text, images, and videos) for various platforms, such as social media, email and blogs.
- Conduct thorough research on industry trends to create relevant content tailored to our target audience.
- Write clear, persuasive, and search engine optimization (SEO) friendly copy for social media posts, captions, and email communications.
Social Media Management:
- Oversee and expand Slate.ng’s social media presence across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.
- Consistently schedule and publish content across all channels.
- Monitor audience engagement, respond to comments and messages on time, and cultivate relationships with followers.
Strategy & Analytics:
- Formulate and implement social media strategies aimed at increasing reach, engagement, and followers.
- Track and analyse performance metrics; including likes, shares, comments, and reach; and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Stay informed about current social media trends and best practices to ensure Slate.ng’s content remains relevant and engaging.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills, coupled with a creative outlook.
- Proficiency in basic graphic design tools (such as Canva) is preferred.
- A strong passion for social media and content development.
- Ability to work independently while managing deadlines effectively.
- Familiarity with the edtech industry is an added advantage.
