We are  recruiting to fill the position below:

 Job Title: Enumerators and Data Collector

Location: All 36 States (Nationwide)

Description

• Result Seekers Limited invites qualified and experienced enumerators and data collectors from all 36 states of Nigeria and the FCT to join our national database of field research professionals.

Key Responsibilities
The Enumerator/Data Collector will:

• Attend and successfully complete all required training, briefing, assessment, and field-testing sessions.
• Study and understand the questionnaire, interview guide, sampling procedure, and fieldwork instructions.
• Identify and approach assigned respondents or locations according to the approved sampling plan.
• Introduce the study clearly and obtain informed consent before collecting any information.
• Conduct interviews professionally, respectfully, and without influencing respondents’ answers.
• Collect data using KoboToolbox, ODK, SurveyCTO, CommCare, paper questionnaires, or other approved platforms.
• Accurately record responses, observations, GPS coordinates, photographs, or supporting information when required and properly authorized.
• Review every completed questionnaire for accuracy, consistency, and completeness before submission.
• Synchronize and submit collected data within the required timeframe.
• Maintain regular communication with the field supervisor and provide daily progress updates.
• Promptly report refusals, access challenges, security concerns, safeguarding incidents, technical problems, and suspected data-quality issues.
• Participate in daily debriefings, spot checks, back-checks, and data-quality reviews.
• Correct legitimate errors or incomplete submissions identified during quality-control reviews.
• Protect respondents’ privacy and maintain the confidentiality of all information collected.
• Properly safeguard project equipment, identification materials, and documents assigned to them.
• Follow all Result Seekers and client policies relating to professional conduct, safeguarding, prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse, data protection, security, and fraud prevention.
• Perform other fieldwork duties reasonably assigned by the supervisor.

Expected Deliverables

• Complete and accurate interviews submitted within the agreed timeframe.
• Daily fieldwork progress reports.
• Properly completed consent and supporting documentation, where applicable.
• Timely reporting of unsuccessful visits, refusals, and field challenges.
• Participation in quality-control checks and correction of verified errors.
• Return of all assigned equipment and project materials in good condition.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an NCE / OND / HND qualification with 1 -2 years work experience.
